The Government has announced that, subject to a short consultation exercise which will commence in September, the Bribery Act will be implemented in April 2011.
When the Act was passed in April 2010, it was intended that its various provisions would be introduced in stages, but the Government has decided it would be better for the whole of the Act to be introduced on a single date.
