Directors’ Addresses

04/01/2009

Directors are reminded that since 1 October 2009, the residential address and a 'service address' of a director must be filed at Companies House when first appointed.

The service address is the address at which documents can be delivered and a receipt for same can be given.

A director who does not want their private address to be disclosed can apply to have it removed. Normally residential addresses will only be made available to credit reference agencies (CRAs) and certain public authorities, although a director can request they are note made available to CRAs.
