Furnished Holiday Letting Abolition Stopped

Becuase of the election, the Government is having to drop some of the controversial parts of the Finance Bill (which, if not enacted, means the Government loses the right to collect taxes).

It was announced today by the Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales that the proposal to abolish the special tax treatement of furnished holiday lettings has been dropped from the Finance Bill. See the announcement.
