The National Archive has launched a new website called legislation.gov.uk, which now makes most (but not all) types of legislation available with the accompanying explanatory documents. It contains all legislation from 1988 onwards and much of the significant prior legislation.
Regrettably, Statutory Instruments (which are of major importance in the regulation of everyday life) are not published in a form suitable for inclusion, so have been omitted.
