Construction and plant-hire companies should be aware that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will require registration of all tower cranes from 6 April, which is when the Notification of Conventional Tower Cranes Regulations 2010 come into force.
Details of the regulations are not yet final, but when they are, they will be published in due course on the HSE website.
