Good morning, afternoon or evening to all of our readers and welcome back to the LFBB Newsletter, April edition. As you’ve come to expect from our monthly missive, we’ve got updates on legal matters, articles and news from everybody’s favourite corner of Paradise Square.
“One of the most frequent legal disputes is disagreeing with you neighbours over where exactly your property lines lay. The issue is incredibly common and a real thorn in the side of property owners all over the country”. This month’s article, Know Your Boundaries, is written by our resident Litigation assistant, Lucas. Focusing on a boundary dispute from a few years ago, there’s a lot to be learnt, and I say this having read it AND learnt something.
We also want to give as big round of applause to conveyancer and officially recognised networker, Ian Clay (pictured right). For over a decade Ian has been attending a networking group known as BIG, the BUSINESS INTEGRITY GROUP, and last year he was awarded Networker of the Year. The award is based on regular attendance, introduction of guests to the group and a vote of the members. Upon receiving the award at the group’s annual Christmas Dinner, Ian had this to say, “it’s about time”.
BIG meet fortnightly at Edwinstowe House and have members in fields such as web design, art and photography, office supplies and financial advising. It has proved to be a very profitable activity, both for other members of the group and for LFBB. Please have a look at the group’s website for more details, www.businessintegritygroup.co.uk.
As always, we are dedicated to assisting our clients efficiently and professionally. If you need help, get in touch by giving us a call on 0114 2729 721 or by clicking here.
