Good morning, afternoon or evening to all of our readers and welcome to LFBB’s bumper September AND October newsletter. Expect updates on legal matters, articles and news from our corner of Paradise Square.
One reason for the lack of a September specific Newsletter is that we have all been extra busy, not just with legal work but with arranging and then having a get together to mark the gradual retirement of our former senior partner Roy Lewis. Whilst Roy didn’t want any fuss and will still be coming into the office from time to time, colleagues gathered to wish Roy well and celebrate together. All of us at LFBB thank Roy for his support and hope that he has a happy retirement.
Now, summer has officially been and gone and we are just over a week into the most orange season of the year. But as the temperature starts to drop, perhaps you could heat yourself with our newsletter, not by printing it and making a fire! But with the warmth of legal news, (toasty).
This month we take a look at why you should be cautious when agreeing to the Terms & Conditions. After you’ve read our article “Terms & Conditions Apply”, you might take just a little more time to read the fine print when signing up for the newest streaming service.
Following on from our last newsletter we say a big congratulations to Emma Bray, yes, THAT Emma Bray (daughter of partner Paul Bray, the man who puts the second “B” in LFBB). At the end of June, Emma took part in the charity event The Big Walk in support of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Research at the University of Sheffield. Emma successfully raised £460, frankly smashing her target of £150. Well done from everyone here at LFBB! For more information on Emma’s big walk and how you can donate, please follow the link: https://www.justgiving.com/team/rna-biology-big-walk.
As always, we are dedicated to assisting our clients efficiently and professionally. If you need help, get in touch by giving us a call on 01142729721 or by following the link: https://www.lfbbsolicitors.co.uk/.
