Welcome to the November 2020 LFBB Newsletters as we find ourselves in a second lockdown with the hope of a vaccine on the horizon but facing more uncertainty on the run up to what will no doubt be a different festive period in December.
In this months news we delve into the COVID-19 restrictions in a little more depth as our Commercial property team try to help our Landlord clients and our Financial Planning colleagues are looking at the murky world of Pension Scams and give a clear guide on what to look out for.
Next month we are featuring Weston Park Hospital. In the coming months we hope to raise as much as we can in support. Anyone living or working in or around Sheffield or having any connection with the city will no doubt be aware of the great cancer care work that the team at Weston Park do. We will be calling upon all our clients and contacts to help us put the ‘fun’ into fundraising and support us to support them.
If you are reading this and have a business in Sheffield or know someone who does who might like to write an article about what they do and how they do it then please contact us. We always like supporting local business but even more so at the moment.
Finally for now, many of our readers will be aware of the Company of Cutlers and the position of Master Cutler. It is in support of the Master Cutler’s charity challenge that we are seeking help in raising funds for Weston Park, much as we did for St. Luke’s last year. However, have you heard of the The Worshipful Company of Pewterers? It is one of the older Livery Companies in the City of London. We would like to congratulate our friend Chris Hudson who has recently been installed as Master Pewterer. There is more information about the Worshipful Company of Pewterers at http://www.pewterers.org.uk. We wish Chris every success in his role and hope that he can be persuaded and find time in his busy schedule to write a piece for our December newsletter explaining a little more about his and the Company’s work.
As always, please let us know what you think about our newsletter and if you have any questions about anything you have read here or that you think we might be able to help you with, then please give us a call on 0114 272 9721.
